Who We Are

CLCS aims to create a more equitable and sustainable food system by sharing the stories of brands and entrepreneurs who hold themselves to the highest standards of quality and consciousness. Companies committed to ethical business practices, sustainable sourcing, and waste reduction are affecting real change for the health of this planet. We craft compelling visuals and engaging narratives to help more people discover and support them.

Utilizing our platform and privilege to bolster the work of intersectional environmental activists is always a top priority for CLCS. We offer our services pro-bono on a rolling basis to BIPOC led organizations + individuals actively facilitating environmental and food justice.

After years of hustling as freelancers in their respective fields of design and journalism, Hawnuh and Maia joined forces to channel their expertise into a shared passion—telling stories at the intersection of sustainability, food, and conscious consumption. CLCS takes an interdisciplinary approach to brand building—transcending traditional marketing strategies to fully embrace creative collaboration. We leverage our combined skill sets and experience to create content that resonates and delights, so your conscious brand gets the spotlight it deserves.
